We believe in radical transparency. This policy explains exactly what data we collect, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

1. Who We Are

VenturVerdict is an AI-powered business plan validation service operated from India. We can be reached at privacy@venturverdict.in.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our service:

Business plan content — the text you submit in our form (problem, solution, market, revenue model, etc.)
Payment information — processed entirely by Razorpay. We never see or store your card details.
Email address — only if you provide it for report delivery notifications.
Usage data — pages visited, time on site, browser type (collected via analytics if you consent).
IP address — for rate limiting, fraud prevention, and security purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

To process your business plan through our AI agent pipeline
To deliver your report and send relevant notifications
To verify payments and prevent fraud
To improve our AI agents and service quality (anonymized only)
To comply with legal obligations

4. AI Processing

Your business plan is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis. Anthropic processes this data subject to their own privacy policy. We recommend not including highly sensitive personal information (e.g. personal financial details, ID numbers) in your business plan submission.

We do not use your business plan data to train AI models.

5. Data Sharing

We share your data only with:

Anthropic — to power the AI analysis (your plan content only)
Razorpay — to process payments (payment data only)
Vercel — hosting and infrastructure provider
PostHog / Vercel Analytics — anonymous usage analytics (only with your consent)

We never sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

6. Data Retention

Report data is retained for 90 days after generation, then permanently deleted. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Indian tax law. You can request earlier deletion by contacting us.

Request a copy of all data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent for analytics cookies at any time
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

8. Security

All data is transmitted over HTTPS. We implement rate limiting, input validation, and payment signature verification to protect against unauthorized access. However, no system is 100% secure — please use our service responsibly.

9. Children

VenturVerdict is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
